NASmeister lets you monitor and manage your Synology NAS from your iPhone. If you have a question, problem or suggestion, contact us using the address below.
On first launch, tap Get Started. NASmeister scans your local network for Synology devices, or you can enter the address (IP or hostname) manually and sign in with your DSM account. You can also connect via QuickConnect.
Your password is stored only in the device's Keychain and is sent directly to your NAS to sign in. It is never sent to us and is not included in iCloud backups of your server list.
Yes. Choose Try demo mode on the welcome screen to explore the app with local sample data — no server or connection required.
If your DSM account uses 2-step verification, NASmeister will prompt for the verification code when signing in.
Check that your iPhone is on the same network as the NAS (or reachable via your address/QuickConnect), that the port is correct (default 5000 for HTTP, 5001 for HTTPS), and that the NAS is powered on. The app must be allowed to access the local network (iOS will ask on first scan).
See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
NASmeister runs on iPhone with a recent version of iOS. A network connection to your NAS is required (except in demo mode). NASmeister is not affiliated with Synology Inc.
